Financial Risk Management on a Neutral Atom Quantum Processor By A. Seddik, O. Hammami, H. Isselnane, D. M’tamon (Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank) « […] Machine Learning models capable of handling the large datasets collected in the financial world can often become black boxes expensive to run. The quantum computing paradigm suggests new optimization techniques, that combined with classical algorithms, may deliver competitive, faster and more interpretable models. In this work we propose a quantum-enhanced machine learning solution for the prediction of credit rating downgrades, also known as fallen-angels forecasting in the financial risk management field. ►PASQAL Raises €100 Million Series B Funding to Advance Neutral Atoms Quantum Computing
PASQAL’s technology was built upon the Nobel Prize-winning research of company co-founder alain aspect. PASQAL will use the funding to further develop its neutral atoms quantum computing platform (on track to deliver 1,000 qubit quantum computer) , which it believes will deliver major commercial advantages over classical computers by 2024.
PASQAL was founded in 2019 by Georges-Olivier REYMOND, Christophe Jurczak, Prof alain aspect (Nobel Prize Physics 2022), Prof Antoine Browaeys, and Thierry Lahaye. PASQAL builds quantum computers from ordered neutral atoms in 2D and 3D arrays to bring a practical quantum advantage to its customers and address real-world problems. Antoine Browaeys and Thierry Lahaye team at the Institut d’Optique Graduate School/CNRS demonstrated that the simulation of many-body problems is inextricable for classical HPC. Since 2011, they have built and improved programmable quantum simulators made of arrays of neutral atoms
If you want to be part of the most exciting tech development of a 21st century: join PASQAL! The company plans to double its team of 100 employees this year to expand globally and more to come.
